What Visitors Say

Are You A School / Organisation / Individual That Would Like To Visit Our Premises And Learn All About Renewable Energy From An Unbiased View Point?

And I am not doing this because of Global Warming (I personally don't believe in it) - Simply cause I was doing this BEFORE Al Gore thought of it...

So if you are wanting an informative tour, please contact us and let's talk! I can then give you an example of what you see / hear...

To give you an idea, in October 2007 we had over 120 individuals come through our place. A visit takes approximately 2 hours .

  • If you are in a group of 1 -10 people then it costs $150 for the visit. (A bargain at $15 each if there is 10 of you).

  • If you are a group of 11-50 people then it costs $200 for the visit (cause it will take ~2.5 hours to do the tour). (An absolute bargain at $4 each if there is 50 of you)

  • If you are a group greater than 51 people please contact me to discuss the price.

Please contact us to discuss when, where and what you get when you visit the Solar Energy House in Meadowbank, Auckland, New Zealand.

Not sure if you are going to get value out of talking to Simon? Click here to read a little on Simon's background in this field.

Put it this way: we don't sell any products anymore (and we used to sell them all). We have no axe to grind with ANY of the importers of renewable related products into New Zealand - so if nothing else we can provide unbiased information for you.

Secondly, for over 20 years Simon has personally being involved in this industry from:
  • Installing the products as an electrician (I can tell you which products are 'rubbish' and which ones will stand the test of time - on your boat/RV/campervan/house/industrial site etc)...
  • Selling the products as an importer/reseller. From representing Siemens Solar Industries (at the time the world largest PV manufacturer) to Canon Inc and their joint venture with UniSolar Inc

  • Using the products as a business (My office in Glenfield when I was running C+I Solar Ltd ran off PV modules on the roof for 4+ years). My current office at Manapau Street (within our house) is solar powered.
  • Using the products as a consumer (Kristina and I have used 5 different brands of inverters, 3 different brands of fridges and freezers, many different light bulbs/lamps, batteries for Africa, let alone what 'standard appliances' etc work well with your PV system... etc
So, if you want to talk / learn from an expert in the PV / renewable energy field, then please contact us today and book a suitable time for Simon Cope to either come and visit your organisation, or for you to visit him.
